How do I get the BenMobile Business App?

The mobile and tablet app is available for download in the App Store, Google Play, and Amazon Appstore.

How can I access BenMobile Business if I am a customer?

Customers can access BenMobile Business by downloading the free app to their mobile device or by using the web browser on their phone.

What devices are eligible for BenMobile Business?

The following devices are eligible for enrollment:

Please note: Prepaid phones are not supported.

Can I perform the same activities on mobile that I can in the desktop system?

Customers cannot initiate or approve ACH and Wire transactions at this time. Approval of ACH and wire transactions is coming Summer 2017. Customers can perform all other activities.

Can I just have BenMobile Business without Business Online Banking?

No, because BenMobile Business is an entitlement of Business Online Banking. Companies must have Business Online Banking to:

  • Initiate wire or ACH transactions (enrolled customers only)
  • Add new wire and ACH templates (enrolled customers only)
  • Manage limits and approvals
  • Grant the entitlements to other users, including for BenMobile Business

If I am an existing customer, will I automatically be given BenMobile Business with mobile deposit in conjunction with the Business Online Banking upgrade?

Yes, all companies will receive the BenMobile Business with mobile deposit entitlement as part of the standard package. However they will need to download the app and register eligible devices. If the Company Administrator wants secondary company users to access BenMobile Business, they will have to grant the required entitlements in the Administration tab of Business Online Banking.

If I am newly enrolled in Business Online Banking, will I be given BenMobile Business with mobile deposit?

Yes, these services are included in the standard Business Online Banking package, but the administrator will have to grant the service to secondary users.

What is the cost for BenMobile Business with mobile deposit?

There is no immediate cost for existing business customers, however checks deposited through mobile deposit will be included in the deposited item count for customers subject to analysis fees.

What are the benefits of BenMobile Business?

Customers can enjoy the following benefits:

What are the features of BenMobile Business?

Approval of ACH and Wire transactions will be coming Summer 2017 for customers with Cash Management services.

How do I know BenMobile Business is secure?

Best practices such as data encryption, password access, and application time-out when a mobile device is not in use are utilized to keep customer information safe. Customers can take additional steps such as locking a device when not in use, logging out after each session, and avoiding public Wi-Fi networks to further safeguard information.

If I pay a bill using BenMobile Mobile, is the payment delayed?

No, payments made through mobile will be processed the same way as online banking payments.

Can I add a payee on my phone?

Yes, new payees can be set up from mobile banking.

Is there a limit to how much I can pay with my phone?

Bill payment amounts cannot exceed the limits established at company enrollment in Business Online Banking.

I have wire services, can I initiate and/or approve a wire transfer request?

Not at this time. Approval of ACH and Wire Transactions is coming Summer 2017.

I have ACH services, can I initiate and/or approve an ACH?

Not at this time. Approval of ACH and Wire Transactions is coming Summer 2017.

I have Positive Pay, can I manage exceptions on my phone?

Yes.

I am the Company Administrator, can I grant a secondary user the BenMobile Business entitlement?

Yes, the Company Administrator can grant the BenMobile Business entitlement to any company user they want to have access.

How will the Company Administrator manage mobile banking settings for themselves and secondary users?

After the BenMobile Business entitlement is given to a user by the Company Administrator, the user can enroll on their device.

I have to go through authentication steps each time I log in using the app, why does this happen if I am on the same device each time I log in?

Privacy settings in the device’s browser can cause this issue. If the user is deleting cookies, authentication will always display. If the user is not deleting cookies and authentication is required, they should reach out to their carrier (AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, etc.) to determine if there is a 3rd party setting issue.

My phone was lost/stolen what do I do?

Customers whose phone was lost or stolen should immediately contact their carrier. After reporting the phone lost or stolen to the carrier, they can disable BenMobile Business using Manage Mobile Banking Settings in the Administration tab in Business Online Banking. If the customer’s phone was lost or stolen and they do not have access to Business Online Banking, they can call the Customer Contact Center to remove the device.
As a protection against theft, customers should not:

  • Store login credentials within the device browser
  • Share login credentials with other individuals
  • Store login credentials in device notepad apps
  • Use password vault applications to store login credentials

BENMOBILE BUSINESS DEPOSIT

What are the deposit limits?

Each day, customers will be able to deposit checks up to $3,000 per check with a limit of $10,000 per day and up to $25,000 per month in checks can be deposited via BenMobile Business.

How will I know that the bank received my check deposit?

Customers will receive two email notifications: Deposit Received and Deposit Approved.

How long will it take for a check to clear?

It will take two business days for the full amount of all mobile deposits to clear. While mobile deposits are not subject to Reg CC funds availability guidelines, the bank will use a standard two business day timeframe for availability.

Will the system extend hold times on checks deposited using a smart phone?

Hold times will be extended for any check deposited via BenMobile Business to an account opened for the first 30 days.

How long should I keep the check?

We suggest keeping the check for seven business days in order to address any issues that may arise.

Is it free for a business to deposit a check with BenMobile Business?

There is no added cost, however the item will be included in the deposited item count for customers subject to analysis fees.

How will I know if the item was rejected?

Customers will receive an email if a deposited item is rejected.

Can I request a limit change?

Yes, customers should contact their Relationship Manager or Cash Management Representative to discuss their needs.
