How does chip technology protect my information?
Using your new card at a chip-activated terminal generates a one-time-use code that is nearly impossible to counterfeit.
Am I still protected against unauthorized charges?
Yes. If your card is ever lost, stolen or fraudulently used, you’re protected by Visa’s® Zero Liability* Policy.
What should I do with my existing Beneficial Visa® Business Debit Card?
Once you activate your new card, please destroy your existing card for security reasons.
Where can I use my chip card?
You can use your card anywhere Visa® Debit Cards are accepted. When you use your card at a chip-activated terminal, you will enjoy enhanced security on purchases for your business.
Will I have to pay any fees to use my chip card?
There are no new fees to use your new debit card.
Can I swipe my card to pay?
Yes. If a merchant is not yet chip-activated, simply swipe your card and enter your PIN or select CREDIT and sign for your purchase, if necessary.
How will I receive my new chip card?
You will receive your new chip card in the mail. Beneficial will never request your personal information or card information. If you do receive a request for any personal information and/or card information, please call 888-742-5272.
